Radio issues

While riding my radio works fine then the music quits and all I hear is static. Turn off the radio for a few minutes and turn it back on, and everything works fine for awhile. The station display stays on so I don't think it is a power problem. I get the same symptoms using speakers and headsets, so I don't think it is the amp. Tried two different auto volume units. Ran the radio in the garage today, and same thing happened after about 30min, so i don't think it is a loose wire. Don't know anybody near me to try my head unit on another bike.
Does anybody have another suggestion for me? Thanks Jeff |

Sounds like the radio unit being that you get the problem out of both headset and speakers.
I would email http://www.sierra-mc.com/ and see what they say. They do fix them and are very good.
The only stupid questions are the one's that are not asked.
