Antenna ???
Hi Guys,
I just purchased an after market Marine Grade Stereo for the wing and wondered about what type of antenna to install, as well as the best place to install on the bike. Can I use a regular antenna for a auto?

you can use a regular antenna from a car, probably one of those small mini's would work, easiest thing is to use the standard gl one but then that's alot more money involved after buying the mount and the antenna

just bought an antenna booster, gotta be better than just a stock antenna,if not there's not to much money wasted

I installed a Pyle marine radio in my 85 Interstate and used a Pyle rubber marine antenna. Drilled a hole in the side of the lid on the rear box. Worked out pretty good.

just got the antenna booster and gave it a trail run in the garage,on a weak station in the garage there was a difference in the noise quality of a weak signal with the garage doors down and that was when using the local position on the radio

wont know really how good until i get to riding down in the "hills" of wv in the spring, there's places down there where u cant even pick up a gospel station,

Sorry Dr Buzz,
I guess I should keep my comments to myself, I have asked several questions related to 1200s and seem to get little or no response. The comment is in no way directed towards you my friend. I understand that most people there own newer bikes and my questions do not apply.
