How ya'll doin?
New member from Charleston, South Carolina just joining up.
A friend of mine named Clayton just emailed me about the site.
So here I is..

I ride a 85 GL1200 Aspencade (when I am in town and able to)

I have felt the stigma of not owning a newer Wing.
But Who Cares... I like my wing and that is all that matters....

So here hoping the site will prosper and flourish..

A little secret: I have driven both the GL1500 and the GL1800 then returned to my GL1200 for a ride and felt quite satisfied and at home and my wife even said that she was more comfortable on the rear seat of the GL1200.

I wonder what it all means?

Hi Ron, nice to see some people from the south riding wings. Charlston, SC and Savannah, GA are my wifes 2 favorite places and we have vacationed in both. I did notice that Harley's seem to be the dominant bike down that way. My wife and I will be trailering our bikes to the sunny south in April and then riding around Florida for 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure I can convince her to spend a few days in Savannah or Charleston. Keep on Wingin' in the south.

Well Come on Down!

The weather should be great in April although it isn't too bad right now if it weren't for all this rain. Yesterday temp was 72 according to my truck, but the local weather folks said 69.

In fact, i am heading up your way next week.
I am going to be spending 2 weeks in the Missisagua area and will be looking at something to do on the weekened of the 12th.
Anything going on?

later

Wow, 72 degrees. That is perfect riding weather. When we were in Savannah last year we rented a Harley Ultra Classic for a day. It was about 95 degrees and we just about boiled. Of course the only helmets they had were black. Unfortunately I am working night shift on the weekend of the 12th. I finish on Sunday morning at 6:30 and usually sleep until noon. Let me know what dates you'll be here and maybe we can get together one evening. Mississauga is only about a 45 minute drive.
