I need a 1200 audio Guru
I need to know exactly what the difference is between the RM-1100 RM-1200 & the RM1300 :-\
I have a half dozen units and I am trying to figure which is the correct one for my 85 LTD. I know that my 84 Aspy has the RM-1100 . I several years ago bought a unit that had the chrome buttons on the face . I took it off ( swapped ) and put it on my Aspy and now i forgot which is which I have a RM-1300. I do know that the one for the LTD and SEI has the metal capeabilities. Would some of you LTD riders help me out and look on the back of your units and tell me what it is ? Thanks in advance :d

my 87 Aspy has a RM-1100 in it and has the black buttons

my 86 SEI has a RM-1400 and has silver metal buttons

i do think the RM-1400 has better reception but i think it has to do with help from the travel computer

hopefully someone else had more info on the models

i'd have to say your next bet is to call sierra electronics....if they dont know

but then again u might call panasonic customer support....its a longshot but maybe someone will be helpful enough to transfer you till you can come up with a good answer

then you can educate us :YMAPPLAUSE:
