intercom on 1986 aspy
when i have the intercom on when i cross a rail road track or a speed bump or a rough road i get a poping in mine and my wifes headset that will mute the radio is this a bad ground or is it in the radio.Thanks Mitchell

I'd check the head set plugs... If you carefully slide the rubber boot off them you can get to the wire connections... Mine had a strand of the sheilding wire that would intermitantly contact other pins... I put some heat shrink on it to cure it...

Also, does this occur when you are riding by your self.??? If not then possibly a issue with the head set cords or the headset in one of the helmets...

Try using the bike speakers rather than the headsets to see if it's something internal to the radio (CB)... If it still does it with the speakers, then it might be a problem with one of the plugs in the fairing or the radio internals...

Probably the radio bouncing in it's holder.
remove the radio an close the contacts on the radio rear plug......carefully
