Hey Y'all from Central Florida
After lurking for a year, I guess it might be considered impolite not to introduce myself.

JP Wing here on a 1985 GL1200 Interstate ridin' out of Ocala, Florida whenever I can.

Just completed an alternator conversion...sweeeeet!

Thank you all very much. Hey Roscoe...let me know when you're planning on being in Pierson and we'll get together for a run out to Daytona. If you haven't been to JP Cycles lately, you'll be shocked. "Destination Daytona" has become like its own little city - some of the best BBQ I've had the pleasure of getting on the outside of.

One of my most favorite rides is Hwy 40 from Ocala, past Silver Springs, through the Forest and over the St. Johns River (with maybe a brief stop for lunch at the Blackwater Inn). I ride with a small group (7 or 8 bikes) on a variety of day trips through Central Florida. Steinhatchee, St. Augustine, Palatka, Salt Springs, Cedar Key, Tarpon Springs and of course Daytona...the motorcycle center of the universe.

You're not too far from Seville (home of "Diamond Custom Seats). Everytime my wife and I pass the roadside shop with the carved buffalo out front (Barberville at Hwy 40 and Hwy 17) she makes me promise to stop there next time. She honestly thinks the buffalo will fit in the saddle bag???!

We could meet up in Barberville (only about 5 miles down Hwy 17 from Pierson) and head out east to Ormond Beach & Daytona.

Just let me know.

You know us classic wingers...any excuse for a ride. I always manage to find something at JP's that I just can't live without.

Hey Spin...

Ya gotta love this weather we're having. Just this past weekend I rode out on the West Ozello Trail. Some of the nicest twisties I've been on. I just completed an alternator conversion and this was her "maiden voyage" so to speak. 110 miles with no problems.

Let me know if you ever get up Ocala way. We'll ride!!!
