Handheld cb mic
How do you get a generic handheld mic to work with the cb on an LTD? Does anyone have the diagram on which wires to splice into?
Thx

Hi Eric,

You will need to check out the audio manual for this one, go to this site and see if the manual is avaiable for download:

Scott has put alot of the Honda manuals into .pdf format for easy viewing.
If you can't find it there let us know and I'm sure someone will come up with a print.

Good Luck

I used a Radio Shack 4 wire mike at one time. I made up a harness that my headset plugged into and spliced into the mike positive and negative wires and traced the wires from the push to talk switch and and spliced into them.

Not a difficult job but requires a little soldering skills and use shielded cable to do the job.
A male and female 5 pin DIN plug and a female plug to match the one on the hand held mike.
The only stupid questions are the one's that are not asked.
