Manometer
I just want to let all you doit yourself Guys a little story. This past winter I spent hours making this gage and finally check the carbs, well as I figured they were off. And than they got worse. And than after try- try again i took it to a shop and in a hour and only $50 less my bike runs like a new well tuned bike. I Did not save any money or time. The hassel is not worth it.

That is why I bought the Morgan Carbtune. No fluid to mess with and nice smooth readings. Takes less than 5 minutes to do a 4 cyl bike. Smile

I'm a klutz and know I would either spill the liquid or suck it in my engine when I blip the throttle between adjustments. I bought a Morgan Carbtune ( http://www.ekmpowershop1.com/ekmps/shop ... /index.asp ) and have used it several times with no problems at all. Here are the before and after pic.s of when I synced the Goldwing just before I went on it's last ride.

That is a good price. I think I paid around $120.00 US for the gage, pouch and shipping to the US. Took about a week to arrive.

one question.. on your tool each tube is independent or they are connected somehow to one or to all carbs? i mean if you apply vacuum on the first hose, the second tube will drop? or all of them?

Yes there are 4 independent hoses. One hose for each gage. This will work on 2 cylinder, 3 cylinder or 4 cylinder by hooking up one hose on each carb. They are all down on the bottom out of sight until vacuum is applied to pull up the steel pin . If you look at my before picture you can see that the carbs were so far out of adjustment the #4 cylinder(on the far right side) didn't even register on the gage. Confusedhock:

I had the same problem as Satch with a motion pro. I started the bike with everything all hooked up and it sucked the fluid up on #2 of course I did not have any extra,I tried ATF in the gauge and I could not get them to balance. I'm not sure if it is the bike or the gauge with the ATF in it,so I ordered a gauge type from J C whitney and can't do a thing until it gets here 3-5 days. I did as the motion pro said as far as set up,but I don't like the fluid type at all,so now I have a Motion pro with ATF in it and down 103.00 bucks I payed for that and then 84.00 bucks I just payed for the one from JC Whitney would have cost me what about 90.00 at the dealer which I still might end up at before this is over............ Live and learn.
