Mine misfired every time I washed the wing until the engine reached operating temp and dried out the moisture. Although it did not misfire when ridden in the rain.

I did check my wires and connections; found my plug wires to be very stiff so to be preventative I purchased a set of 4 wires from Honda. Never did get them installed, still in the package in my garage.

Make sure your spark plug boots are tight on the ends of the wires. They screw on and off easily. This could be a possible source of your problem.

I am not located far from you; if you are interested in purchasing the set (or anyone else for that matter) send me a PM and we can discuss the matter.
