Type III Panasonic radio reception
A question I've been meaning to ask: I read/heard somewhere that there is a diode on the bottom of the travel computer that can be disconnected to increase the radio reception. I believe that there was a service bulletin from Honda concerning this issued to the dealers so they could repair the problem. My question is has anyone heard of this and what is the location of the diode??

Thanks for responding!!

I finally found where I read about the fix for the radio reception.

Quote from the Clymer manual: "The Honda factory has determined that on some 1985 Limited models there may be weak signal reception where the signal fades in and out on both AM and Fm bands, or the radio will not scan properly on either the AM of FM bands. This problem can be solved by the addition of a condensor to the Travel computer."

The Manual doesn't say what size condensor or where it goes in the Travel computer. Does anyone here know????
