Yes, tolerances are that tight. But you don't have to take too much apart. Remove the air box and the faux tank. Remove both lower fairing skirts. Unbolt the intake runners and slide the carbs out a couple of inches toward the left side of the bike. You'll find two phillips headed screws at the front of the plenum that hold the choke cable BRACKET. Remove the screws (magnetic screw driver) and pull the cable out still attached to the bracket.
Install in reverse order. (I've always wanted to say that!) :lol: |
