5 pin headset is not stereo? - GTi Giant - 07-24-2008

I purchased this headset tonight for the wife and I. They work great, but they only come out the left speaker on the headset? Any ideas? Help! We are leaving for our first medium trip saturday.

If your dash speakers are both working, and the headsets are new, the problem is most likely in your multichanger. If you don't have a cb, look at the headset junction box.

I was thinking about your concern this morning on the way to work. If I remember right (I don't have a schematic in front of me) the headset function of the radio is independant of the external speakers. There is a five pin din plug from the back of the radio to the junction box. It's quite possible you may have a problem internal in the radio that is not delivering output on that channel or the cable is malfunctioning.
